All things must pass, George Harrison used to say, and it’s true – we’ve reached the finale of our first season! Over the past year, we’ve aimed to present hard-hitting cultural analysis along with little pearls of wisdom, as well as honest advice and stories drawn from our own lives and presented truthfully, no matter the cost. So it felt right to wrap up the season with a look back at those moments from the show that really seemed to touch our listeners deeply: the ads. By popular demand, we present all of the first season’s advertisements back-to-back-to-ever-loving BACK! Plus, a never-released ad the censors deemed “too hot for TV”! You’ve been warned.
Are you geared up for season two? Let us know!
Searching for the American dream? Head north to everyone’s favorite wacky “neighbour” – Canada! Canada’s not just the home of Americans’ imaginary girlfriends, it’s also a real country! And the dudes explore it all this week: from moose and poutine all the way to the Queen! In the Q&A, our heroes pick their all-time favorite books (as opposed to that “brand new” stuff the critics review). Finally, in SRSG, Josh laments the death of the planet but laughs it off at a comedy show, while Eric bemoans the lack of mail forwarding before recommending a book.
Did your first girlfriend “live in Canada”, too? Tell us her name!
Josh and Eric crack open the vault this week, reliving classic slights from high school that still have the power to rankle! In the Q&A, the lads counsel any listeners nervous about their first professional massage (hint: ask for the happy ending). Finally, the happy meds are flowing in SRSG as Eric recommends a movie and a self-serving album while Josh endorses a TV show and a band.
What’s your greatest moment of ire?

Welcome to a new year! (Surprised we made it this far? So are we!) Josh and Eric kick off 2017 by discussing their new year’s resolutions. In Q&A they get philosophical, deciding which food they would eat if they could only eat one food forever: an age-old question, resolved at last! Finally, in SRSG, Eric pans earbuds but praises an old movie, while Josh gripes about e-mail chains before reminiscing about a waterpark.
